No longer excited about what’s in your wardrobe? If your style has shifted, you’ve got impulse buys hanging unused, or pieces that no longer fit, bring them to us and we’ll find them a new owner. We do curate carefully: we’re looking for high-quality, distinctive and stylish labels. When an item sells, you receive 40 percent and we retain 60 percent. From our share we remit 21 percent VAT, so in practice the proceeds are split evenly — which feels fair.

Terms & Conditions

By consigning items, you agree to the following terms.

• When bringing in clothing or accessories for the first time, please register in advance. You’ll receive a list to complete with the items and your suggested prices.
• Galerie Kunstproeven decides which pieces fit our collection, and together we agree on the selling price. Items not accepted must be taken back immediately. We accept a maximum of 20 pieces per person, so bring your best and leave the doubtful ones at home.
• All clothing must be in good condition, freshly washed and ironed.
• We do not buy items outright; payment is made later for pieces that sell.
• After a sale, 60 % of the proceeds goes to us and 40 % to you.
• Settlements take place periodically in cash. Unsold items can be collected at that time. Items not collected by the date we specify will be donated to a charity chosen by Galerie Kunstproeven.
• All consignments are at your own risk. Galerie Kunstproeven is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to items brought in.
