Galerie Kunstproeven is an approachable gallery and studio in the heart of Maastricht. We bring together contemporary painting, ceramics, jewellery and textile art in a warm, welcoming setting, so you don’t just see the work, you experience it. Sustainability runs through what we do. We value thoughtfully made work, slow craft and long-lasting materials. Alongside exhibitions we also curate a carefully selected corner of second-hand designer fashion, because good design deserves a second life.
Liliane Konings is a visual artist and the driving force behind Kunstproeven. In the gallery she curates changing presentations and regularly invites guest artists. In her studio she hosts small, hands-on creative day workshops.
We collaborate with a steady group of artists and makers. The line-up changes throughout the year, so there’s always something new to discover.
